In August 1912 my Great Grandfather, William Warn drove his 25HP Singer from Lands End to John O'Groats without stopping the engine. His three great grandchildren will try to replicate this in a 1907 Singer owned and driven by Ian North in August 2012.

Running Repairs
After each day's tour, Ian and Steve give the 1907 a full rub down and massage, fully inspecting it's nooks and crannies for signs of wear. Yesterday a slight leak was identified in the radiator so 'Steve the Serviceman' set to with 'Handy Ian' and the toolkit to fix the bits before any serious malfunction could occur. I believe blow torches were involved and it all sounded very painful for the poor old 1907, but 'what goes on in the workshop stays in the workshop'. Now ensconced under the awning of the motor home, everyone hopes that with the thunder and lightening now going on around us, it will be kept relatively dry!
