In August 1912 my Great Grandfather, William Warn drove his 25HP Singer from Lands End to John O'Groats without stopping the engine. His three great grandchildren will try to replicate this in a 1907 Singer owned and driven by Ian North in August 2012.

INTO PITLOCHRY AND STOP FOR THE NIGHT
Almost done for the day, we are going through Pitlochry and see the distillery for Bells whisky. Now, as Scotland is the home of whisky making it would have been rude not too stop, so we did. However, none of us care for whisky much, though we tried to show willing. This brought the best out in Steve who decided that the 'nipples' needed greasing one last time before our final destination. And he hadn't even had a drink - must have been the fumes!
