In August 1912 my Great Grandfather, William Warn drove his 25HP Singer from Lands End to John O'Groats without stopping the engine. His three great grandchildren will try to replicate this in a 1907 Singer owned and driven by Ian North in August 2012.

DAY 3 August 24th Steeple Ashton to ?
Sadly Kelvin has not been able to continue with us today as he has been struggling with a frozen shoulder, which has got considerably worse through the trip. When he joined us at Lands End he had already cycled over 200 miles to get there and the next couple of days took too much of a toll. Sally eventually put her foot down and came to pick him up. Over 500 cycled miles in 4 days is no mean feat especially when he was sleeping in a tiny tent overnight! So see you soon Kelvin and don't be so flipping hard on yourself!
